The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Armando Meira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Armando Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Svensson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Róbson Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbson Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Simão in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Brazil Academy's César Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sven Svensson. Sven Svensson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 17th minute, César Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven Svensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 21st match minute, A & B United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. A & B United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when César Torres scored to the left of an out of position Sven Svensson, making the score, 4-0. Jan-Olof Lindgren hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, César Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sven Svensson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil Academy's Armando Meira. But to his dismay, Armando Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Armando Meira in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven Svensson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute Róbson Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Torres was the one to do the kick off. Sven Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Meira in the 51st minute of the match. Sven Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Torres went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Brazil Academy's Fiori Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes A & B United FC got a freekick which was hit by Göran Bäckman. When Brazil Academy's César Torres in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A & B United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Brian Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Meira in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A & B United FC's zone, Armando Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Svensson came out of the goal and Armando Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A & B United FC's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Torres in the 64th minute of play. Sven Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Meira in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Simão came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when A & B United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Mossberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Simão in the 73rd minute of the match. Christian Mossberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sven Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Torres in the 76th minute of play. Sven Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the A & B United FC defense, César Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Svensson. The A & B United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Svensson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Torres in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Svensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Brazil Academy booed when A & B United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, A & B United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Meira came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Torres in the 91st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Bäckman during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, A & B United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Bäckman to maneuver through the defense.
