Målilla's Krister Hellkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Segundo Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kekambas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Målilla's Joachim Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Målilla from getting a goal against them.

When Kekambas FC's Eulalio Ovando in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Målilla's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Ixaka during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Eulalio Ovando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kekambas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Målilla getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Sven-Arne Wallin hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joachim Wallin was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Joachim Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Ovando in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Målilla's Ingemar Haglund got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute, Segundo Dimo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Wallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Esteve Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Kent Sandell sent off a good shot on target. Målilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kekambas FC the free kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kekambas FC had played much better football throughout.
