Maximino Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valer Opincaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jaime Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marian Bălan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guillermo Jaunti. 21 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Buzgar came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Bouleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Maximino Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Martin Costache made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximino Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marian Bălan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Laurendi went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pes in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Bălan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulises Laurendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marian Bălan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Herradura FC's Remigio Gelacio got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jaime Pes took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Bălan. Marian Bălan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pes was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Martin Costache got a free kick in the 51st minute. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pes in the 52nd minute of play. Marian Bălan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ulises Laurendi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Marian Bălan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Herradura FC. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pes in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pes in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pes in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Marian Bălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Jaime Pes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's Ulises Laurendi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Bălan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pes in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marian Bălan saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. When Ulises Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the La Herradura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Laurendi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Dorin Chirtoacă hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Clemente Erdiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ulises Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Jaime Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Bălan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 92nd minute, Marco Asier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
