The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Ladislav Blažek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ocean´s Eleven's Andreas Viberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Viberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislav Blažek in the 8th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, FC XY's Ladislav Blažek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Viberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Peter Obšut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Viberg having to interfere. Ocean´s Eleven's Andreas Viberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislav Blažek in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC XY's Peter Obšut got a free kick in the 15th minute. Peter Adamek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Sigman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ingemar Sigman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Adamek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, FC XY's Andreas Viberg threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viktor Hanigovský, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ladislav Blažek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Andreas Viberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andreas Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Hanigovský in the 27th minute of play. Andreas Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Hanigovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ocean´s Eleven's Kjell-Arne Sandell got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ladislav Blažeks short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Andreas Viberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Vičík in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Viberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, Ocean´s Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Snäll to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Bučko struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Andreas Viberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC XY. Peter Adamek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Julin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Peter Adamek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Sigman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 50th match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Hanigovský to maneuver through the defense. Kjell-Arne Sandell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ingvar Hjortsberg fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ocean´s Eleven's protests and gave Ingvar Hjortsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ocean´s Eleven getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ingvar Hjortsberg hit a great ball. Gabriel Cucák charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Cucák the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ocean´s Eleven booed when FC XY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cucák didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kevin Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Sigman in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Adamek saved FC XY from getting behind. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Richard Vičík hit a great ball. Ingvar Hjortsberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of FC XY booed when Ocean´s Eleven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, FC XY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Wagner to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Sigman in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Adamek saved FC XY from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Kevin Julin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Ocean´s Eleven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Sandell to maneuver through the defense. Andreas Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Blažek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Ocean´s Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Sigman. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC XY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ocean´s Eleven had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
