The crowd rose to their feet as FC Pladask's Jan-Kenneth Øglænd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marian Bălan. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th minute, Alf Eik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alf Eik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marian Bălan made a huge save. Mădălin Buzgar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Eik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Marian Bălan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Jan-Kenneth Øglænd rounded FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 33rd minute Jan-Kenneth Øglænd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Bălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 34th minute of play. Marian Bălan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Marian Bălan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Eik. Marian Bălan was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Alf Eik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alf Eik really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Kenneth Øglænd came free, but Marian Bălan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Bălan came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pladask's Alf Eik. But to his dismay, Alf Eik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Alf Eik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pladask fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristen Sollien to maneuver through the defense. Marian Bălan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 75th minute of play. When Mădălin Buzgar fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Mădălin Buzgar a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Kenneth Øglænd in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Bălan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Tord Kaur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Bălan. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tord Kaur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 90th match minute, FC Pladask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Eik to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Dorin Chirtoacă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
