Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) FC XY's Jozef Michálek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Roman Ferenc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Adamek. FC XY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Kenneth Øglænd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roman Ferenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Fowler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Bergerud in the 14th minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Peter Adamek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jozef Michálek took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Fowler. Douglas Fowler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With his leg Douglas Fowler managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when FC XY's Peter Obšut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Theodor Sandø kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jozef Michálek in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Fowler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC XY were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC Pladask's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matej Šajna took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Peter Obšut managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Pavol Wagner fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC XY's protests and gave Pavol Wagner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC XY getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pavol Wagner hit a great ball. Peter Adamek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Øglænd, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Bergerud in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Adamek saved FC XY from getting behind. If Jozef Michálek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Jan-Kenneth Øglænd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Adamek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Kenneth Øglænd to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC XY's zone, Albert Bergerud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Adamek came out of the goal and Albert Bergerud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Jozef Michálek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Fowler. FC Pladask's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jozef Michálek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jozef Michálek managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC XY's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Michálek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Stordal kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. FC XY's Peter Adamek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC XY from getting a goal against them. After 75 played minutes FC Pladask got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Frode Vestrheim. Peter Obšut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Jan-Kenneth Øglænd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Adamek. Jan-Kenneth Øglænd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Albert Bergerud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Adamek having to interfere. Albert Bergerud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Jan-Frode Vestrheim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of FC XY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Pladask:s goal. In the 98th minute, Pavol Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
