Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Jupân in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Normando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Calistrat Şerbănescu was substituted for Costel Gurgui. After a rather tough play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Abel Uzuri got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Mircea Jupân fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Mircea Jupân a yellow card for diving instead. Bendito Sea El Fernet's Federico Normando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Phoenix in the 61st minute of play. Mario Tipi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlad Covrig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Tipi ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Bendito Sea El Fernet defense, Golo Phoenix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Normando. The Bendito Sea El Fernet fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Normando should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes of play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Jeronimo Bertin made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, Clemente Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bendito Sea El Fernet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
