In the 11th match minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. Teo Ekialde was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Remigio Gelacio. Serafin Chano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Teo Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Alejo Asier sent off a good shot on target. Alejo Asier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Teo Ekialde 17 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ulises Laurendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Herradura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Laurendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Fernandez in the 21st minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper Maximino Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Fernandez took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Polo. Maximino Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alejo Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Remigio Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard, long distance shot from Ulises Laurendi flew over the goal. Melquiades Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Polo having to interfere. Maximino Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Celestino Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Polo. La Herradura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, La Herradura FC's Maximino Polo got control of the ball when Celestino Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cacomixtles de Queretaro booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Asier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Videl. 68 minutes into the game, Alejo Asier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Teo Ekialde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Asier in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Ekialde saved Cacomixtles de Queretaro from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Fernandez came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Polo was a little too slow when Celestino Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 3-3. 84 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Fernandez came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alejo Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes La Herradura FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Jaunti. After having played for 88 minutes, Christian Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximino Polo was a little too slow when Celestino Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 3-4. When the final whistle sounded Cacomixtles de Queretaro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Herradura FC.
