After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Tiberiu Rotariu got a free kick in the 4th minute. Cléberson Munhoz's late challenge caught a PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Agroboys SM - CIMZ! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca. Lucian Şimonca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valério Monteiro. 1-0. Dacian Ghițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Prata in the 20th minute of play. If Virgil Jupân had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Jupâns short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Valério Monteiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Eliézer Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Agroboys SM - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Araújo couldn't finish the play. Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Jupân in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sorin Nicorici who took care of the corner kick. After 38 minutes of play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Felix Mihăilescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valério Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agroboys SM - CIMZ's Valério Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Agroboys SM - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. When Golo Phoenix came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Golo Phoenix couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Agroboys SM - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tião de Amaral.

When PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dacian Ghițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulinho Moraes in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Phoenix in the 71st minute of play forced Agroboys SM - CIMZ's goalkeeper Valério Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
