Rubinho Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Rubinho Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Oduor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rothwell Park's Charles Oduor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Azevedo in the 16th minute of play. In the 18thth minute of the game Rubinho Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rothwell Park's Charles Oduor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Hélder de Medeiros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charles Oduor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Rothwell Park getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Wilson Korir hit a great ball. Brazil Academy's Paulo José de Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Brazil Academy from getting a goal against them. Rothwell Park's Charles Oduor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Rothwell Park's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Azevedo came free, but Charles Oduor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rubinho Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Brazil Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Azevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Wilson Korir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Nando Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Oduor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Rubinho Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Oduor. Rothwell Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubinho Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Charles Oduor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubinho Azevedo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Rothwell Park players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brazil Academy were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Sammy Kosgei made the kick off in the second half. Charles Oduor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Armando Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Brazil Academy's Nando Quadros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Sammy Kosgei scored 1-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo José de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Talib Hassan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The corner ended in Hélder de Medeiros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rothwell Park's Charles Oduor did a great save. 71 minutes into the game, Zablon Shikanda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rothwell Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil Academy the free kick. Charles Oduor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Charles Oduor made a huge save. After 79th play minutes Rubinho Azevedo shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Charles Oduor and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Rothwell Park's Charles Oduor got control of the ball when Rubinho Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hélder de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Charles Oduor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Azevedo in the 91st minute. Armando Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Charles Oduor made a huge save.
