Fidel Veronica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bülent Keçecioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When Ove Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the BK Gubbhöft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Salkvist couldn't finish the play. Ove Salkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bülent Keçecioğlu having to make a save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BK Gubbhöft made a substitution. Hans-Georg Luabunnum replaced Ove Salkvist. BK Gubbhöft's Sten Hydén was substituted for Quintin Gomar.
