A collision led to Barça getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rafal Jazowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Dziedelonis in the 4th minute of play forced Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Besiktas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zachary Chojnacki was slow to take the kick. During this time Barça's players had a chance to rest. After 11 minutes of play, Barça's Aldo Paoletti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bülent Keçecioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Besiktas's Yıldırım Işıker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 21st minute, Rafal Jazowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barça fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 26 minutes into the game, Pierre Dziedelonis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bülent Keçecioğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldo Paoletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Bülent Keçecioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Güngör Yamanöz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Besiktas's protests and gave Güngör Yamanöz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güngör Yamanöz to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Pierre Dziedelonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bülent Keçecioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Makomaski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafal Jazowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barça booed when Besiktas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Nafiz Göktepe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Rafal Jazowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bülent Keçecioğlu, 2-4. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Bülent Keçecioğlu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute Barça were awarded a corner. Zachary Chojnacki went to the cornerflag to take it. Barça's Rafal Jazowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bülent Keçecioğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmund Makomaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yıldırım Işıker in the 67th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Rafal Jazowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bülent Keçecioğlu. Rafal Jazowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Barça made a substitution. Tucker Zybelin replaced Rafal Jazowski. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Tucker Zybelin put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Bülent Keçecioğlu. Barça's Krzysztof Gibowski was substituted for Pierre Dziedelonis. 86 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goalkeeper Bülent Keçecioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Gibowski. Bülent Keçecioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tucker Zybelin in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Barça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Limanowski to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Barça could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Besiktas throughout the match.
