Boruc Kornatowski's late challenge caught a Bayern München FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Pazura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoriy Melnichenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayern München FC.'s attentive Csaba Latabár managed to snatch the ball when Zachary Sobczak made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Csaba Latabár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Pazura having to interfere.
