The MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Tyski should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute of the game Roland Gotfryd made a throw-in which Leszek Lukasik played forward. In the 32nd minute, Ove Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marek Tyski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Salkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Ove Salkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marek Tyski was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Cieliczka got free with Isaac Jonasson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Salkvist in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marek Tyski saved MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Veronica to make the kick off. Ove Salkvist took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Tyski. Marek Tyski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Roland Gotfryd with Angel Panagonov as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 57 minutes into the match, MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Salkvist came free, but Marek Tyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Ove Salkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Marek Tyski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Incendio who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on BK Gubbhöft's corner Ove Salkvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marek Tyski quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Fidel Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Gubbhöft's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BK Gubbhöft's Sten Hydén was substituted for Per Söderberg. BK Gubbhöft's Jonas Ahlin was substituted for Fidel Veronica. 70 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's Jonas Ahlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Tyski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Janusz Lamczyk in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Jonas Ahlin took a quick shot and it went in 2-7 without a chance for Marek Tyski to make any attempt to save it. Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marek Tyski made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Hans-Georg Luabunnum sent off a good shot on target. Marek Tyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ahlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Marek Tyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Ahlin in the 81st minute of play. MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Hans-Georg Luabunnum scored to the left of an out of position Marek Tyski, making the score, 2-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Hans-Georg Luabunnum kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marek Tyski. That made the score 2-9 in the 85 minute of play. The supporters of MZ Zagłębie Sosnowiec booed when BK Gubbhöft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Özver didn't get a good kick on the ball.
