Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Jens-Ove Malm. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Malm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thiago Neves in the 17 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrique Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amauri Félix. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Thiago Neves made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi. The audience was convinced that Jens-Ove Malm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hansjörg Wastl was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Amauri Félix made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Henrique Borges sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Thiago Neves in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Paolo Argi hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Jens-Ove Malm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Malm to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 56th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Malm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ the free kick. Jens-Ove Malm took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hansjörg Wastl. Hansjörg Wastl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Tolgahan Onatkan replaced Marcos Siqueira. In the 76th minute, Di Yang Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Di Yang Feng. In the 79th minute Edu Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 90th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens-Ove Malm kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hansjörg Wastl. That made the score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 95th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
