But to his dismay, Juan Sergi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezel Lobo. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Juan Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☬彡Lo多o Entrerriano彡☬'s supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Walme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wellington Fonseca made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☬彡Lo多o Entrerriano彡☬'s Dalmacio Mogel. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme got control of the ball when Teodosio Oinatz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Daniel Owsiak put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lobo Bicherakhov. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Lucio Siekkötter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lobo Bicherakhov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Daniel Owsiak made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Sergi in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
