In the 5thth minute of the game Nestor Paraibano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Fabiano Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Dida Taffarel made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Nestor Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Ademar Fernandes. Bizard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Cano in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Nestor Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Fernandes. Bizard FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 26th minute of the match. Bizard FC's Guga Zaracho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jon Grøneng in the 33 minute of the game. Jon Grøneng made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Selami Rezan however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 41st minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Jon Grøneng. In the 45th minute, Nestor Paraibano made a precise shot to the right of Ademar Fernandes. Bizard FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Martins to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Sena's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Ademar Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bizard FC's Guga Zaracho got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Guga Zaracho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes Marquês de Herval's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guga Zaracho who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Manfredo Pombal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Paraibano got free with Ademar Fernandes in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ademar Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Martins in the 73rd minute of play. Candido Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bizard FC's Roman Kostrzewski was substituted for Betão Duarte. In the 82nd minute, Roman Kostrzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marquês de Herval's Moussa Kabre couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bizard FC. After 88 minutes Marquês de Herval's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fabiano Sena who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena to fire away a dangerous shot which Dida Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bizard FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 91st minute. After taking down the ball on Bizard FC's corner Luiz Fabiano Sena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dida Taffarel quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Jon Grøneng. Marquês de Herval's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
