In the 37th minute, Mamutes EC's Dave Panno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Peres. Nilson Peres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Magno Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mamutes EC's Magno Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Bertassi in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Tarasek. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Panno was the one to do the kick off.
