In the 8th minute of the match Bizard FC got a corner. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flavian Bastin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esen Sanal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luiz Fabiano Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Esen Sanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Augusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Renato Augusto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio Mangueira hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Augusto in the 20th minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Sena came free, but Esen Sanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Véber in the 23rd minute of play forced Bizard FC's goalkeeper Ademar Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bai Cheng Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Esen Sanal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Augusto came free, but Ademar Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Bizard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Véber came free, but Ademar Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Lucio Siekkötter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esen Sanal was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Luiz Fabiano Sena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Fabiano Sena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Esen Sanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Augusto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esen Sanal came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ademar Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Véber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena in the 81st minute of the match. Bizard FC's Ademar Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 83rd minute of play. Ademar Fernandes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Renato Augusto. But to his dismay, Renato Augusto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esen Sanal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After taking down the ball on Bizard FC's corner Flavian Bastin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esen Sanal quite easily take care of the ball.
