Edu Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Naldo Valladares to fire away a dangerous shot which Magno Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dave Panno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. Magno Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Dave Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 23rd minute of play. Magno Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mamutes EC's Magno Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Borges in the 26th minute of play. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naldo Valladares in the 28th minute. In the 33rd minute, Moisés Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Magno Correia made a huge save. 狄凡冰 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansjörg Wastl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 38th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Magno Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Tepedino came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Dave Panno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mamutes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Carvalho made a kick off. Magno Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Dave Panno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjörg Wastl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magno Correia came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Luís Fabiano Sena. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Valdemar Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magno Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Yan Schmidt was substituted for Edu Carvalho. Magno Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Dave Panno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 79 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Argi. In the 81st minute, Dave Panno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hansjörg Wastl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 87thth minute of the game Yan Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mamutes EC's Magno Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mamutes EC made a substitution. Tor Svensson replaced 武岩然. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. Yan Schmidt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Magno Correia. 3-2. In the 95th minute, Luís Fabiano Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mamutes EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
