In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 楚笑霖 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Arsenal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 楚笑霖 quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 楚笑霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobis Joey got free with Julio Vera in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 楚笑霖 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of the match. Saivis Rentovics might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saivis Rentovics ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaapo Lobachevskiy's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaapo Lobachevskiy helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Kaapo Lobachevskiy. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arsenal FC's 邓宇银 got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered 邓宇银 off the ground. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. 邓宇银 hit a great ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 楚笑霖 having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goalkeeper 楚笑霖 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobis Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 楚笑霖 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 楚笑霖 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Arsenal FC's Kaapo Lobachevskiy. If Tobis Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tobis Joey came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
