Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Soare. Galati Harbour Cats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Covataru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. After having played for 32 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galati Harbour Cats's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavian Soare, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Ianis Man scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Noboa, making the score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Shi Li made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Octavian Soare, 1-3. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Li's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 71st minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Ré threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Li in the 82nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. The throw-in from Antoni Dembkowski in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
