Gabriel-Omar Di Berardinos short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Utku Yuvakuran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Utku Yuvakuran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Iwan Bule fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 19 minutes into the match, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Utku Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Tinoco in the 22nd minute. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Iwan Bule fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Alberto Gisbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Utku Yuvakuran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Bule got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Sainz made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Camilo Franco however managed to control. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Vivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay were furious when Camilo Covarrubias was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa:s goal. Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 43rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Joaquin Gayoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino in the 44th minute. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zé Tinoco was slow to take the kick. During this time Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorukhan Toköz in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes, Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Dennis Matteucci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa reached it. Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa made a substitution. Şakir Uçarer replaced Dorukhan Toköz. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Erkin Canay was substituted for Aytekin Ciner. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Gökalp Kiray was substituted for Davut Sabuncuoğlu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Bule in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Bule in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Utku Yuvakuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 74th minute of play. Iwan Bule took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Bule in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Erhan Eroğul quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Utku Yuvakuran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Bule in the 87th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Erzincan MustafaKemalPaşa's Iwan Bule. But to his dismay, Iwan Bule quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 93 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Di Berardino came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
