Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Fumo Canuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Azevedo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ángel De Silva hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Cezary Bartoszek got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jose Heredia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrés Figueroa was slow to take the kick. During this time Downchester City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruy Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 26 minutes, Jose Heredia made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The throw-in from Sebastián Jaen in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Cezary Bartoszek. Jose Heredia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Heredia got free with Ruy Montenegro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Heredia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the game Moi Samaniego made a throw-in which Jose Heredia played forward. When Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Downchester City defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fumo Canuto. The Downchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fumo Canuto should have stopped the shot. Downchester City made a substitution. Etxahun Rienda replaced Andrés Figueroa. Downchester City's Beila Marcilla was substituted for Jose Heredia. Fumo Canuto came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo. But to his dismay, Gernando Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 85 minutes into the game, Roman Quexal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fumo Canuto. Roman Quexal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beila Marcilla in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Marcilla came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etxahun Rienda in the 94th minute of play. Gernando Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fumo Canuto having to make a save. Fumo Canuto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 96th minute.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
