Chiquinho Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. København. 18 minutes into the match, F.C. København's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Cresenciano came free, but Blas Cidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Frontera AFC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Polkoski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Txanton in the 22nd minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Blas Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Polkoski came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Cresenciano in the 28th minute of play forced F.C. København's goalkeeper Blas Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Victorino Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Polkoski made a kick off. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Polkoski in the 56th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Fabian Polkoski made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabian Polkoski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. F.C. København's Nicholas Hulvej was substituted for Aşır Ekici. After a rather tough play, F.C. København's Fabian Polkoski got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Fabian Polkoski put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Chiquinho Romero. After 72 minutes of play, F.C. København's Victorino Abajas made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Abajas in the 77th minute of the match. Victorino Abajas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 82 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Cresenciano. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Abajas in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when F.C. København was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Hulvej didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Freddie Stavngaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frontera AFC's Toro Morales shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Blas Cidro but with some difficulty. Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Polkoski in the 92nd minute of play. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terri Steenstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Torrea to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Freddie Stavngaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chiquinho Romero skillfully saved the ball.

F.C. København's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
