After a rather tough play, BumboTava's Alfons Lode got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Benicio Felipillo struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Rinalds Babulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ultimo. After having played for 6 minutes, Alfons Lode managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BumboTava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Lode was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jānis Mežāris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hugo Fidele sped through BumboTava's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rinalds Babulis. When Benicio Felipillo came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the El ultimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Felipillo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Fidele in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rinalds Babulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rinalds Babulis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when El ultimo's Hugo Fidele shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ainārs Matkēvics hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind BumboTava's goalkeeper Rinalds Babulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hugo Fidele's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rinalds Babulis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Alfons Lode managed to get in a good position for a shot. BumboTava's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfons Lode was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Pere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eriberto Balesio hit a great ball. Rinalds Babulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Napier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The BumboTava players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El ultimo were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Lode to make the kick off. BumboTava's Eižens Barakalns got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Lode received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Niceto Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Saul Peruanton fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ultimo's protests and gave Saul Peruanton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Saul Peruanton hit a great ball. BumboTava's Rinalds Babulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Felipillo in the 59th minute of play. In the 66th minute, El ultimo's Rafael Napier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 73rd minute Rafael Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinalds Babulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 75 in the game by Hugo Fidele from a close distance when the talented Rinalds Babulis managed to make a qualified save. BumboTava's players were relieved.

El ultimo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
