Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Jean Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Esbjörnsson in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Patrik Ahlrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ronnys Lärjungar's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Ahlrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adhemar de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrik Ahlrot's late challenge caught a Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Ahlrot helped the player get up and apologised. Patrik Ahlrot hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arnold Butter was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of Ronnys Lärjungar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adhemar de Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tommy Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar de Andrade in the 55th minute of play forced Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Edvin Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
