In the 5th minute Clodoveo Feliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Arthur Morgan´s Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Collin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 9th minute of play forced Arthur Morgan´s Club's goalkeeper Sándor Koós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arthur Morgan´s Club's Jonathan Calleri in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Clodoveo Feliz was slow to take the kick. During this time Arthur Morgan´s Club's players had a chance to rest. In the 26th minute, Feliksas Fenichev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Arthur Morgan´s Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Sándor Koós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Ivănescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Feliz got free with Fernando Selatse in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jonathan Calleri came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Arthur Morgan´s Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Calleri couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Calleri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alvaro Raymond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Sándor Koós made a huge save. Sándor Koós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 59th minute of the match. Jonathan Calleri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano was substituted for Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Gabriel Silban managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Gomar in the 66 minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Jonathan Calleri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arthur Morgan´s Club's zone, Robert Percha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sándor Koós came out of the goal and Robert Percha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arthur Morgan´s Club made a substitution. Justino Urdaspal replaced Clodoveo Feliz. Freddy Barros made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Despidida AFC's Gabriel Silban. Thanks to some nice moves Robert Percha could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Sándor Koós however easily saved by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Despidida AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
