In the 7th minute, Leonardo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang in the 12th minute of play. Emil Wincek might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Carlomagno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Wincek ran back to his position shaking his head. CJ Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Carlomagno having to interfere. In the 29th minute Mo Yi Sang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Lewandowski in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Jonas Vingegaard threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Lorenzo's Fausto Estebano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Samuel Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Samuel Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mo Yi Sang in the 40th minute of the match. Samuel Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang in the 41st minute of play. In the 48th minute, Mo Yi Sang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mo Yi Sang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mo Yi Sang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Samuel Santos made a huge save. Samuel Santos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mo Yi Sang sent off a good shot on target. The San Lorenzo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
