Fabian Arendarski came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by GUTIERREZ SC's Gregorio Pelagius. But to his dismay, Gregorio Pelagius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Denis Maju's late challenge caught a Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Maju helped the player get up and apologised. David Soter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömür Seyfeddin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a corner. GUTIERREZ SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patryk Zukowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pocho Lavezzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fabian Arendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when GUTIERREZ SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Peron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Juan Peron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GUTIERREZ SC and the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of GUTIERREZ SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 35 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Pelagius. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting a goal against them. Ömür Seyfeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Soter having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Leopoldo Manta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Soter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Manta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Pelagius to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Leopoldo Manta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Soter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute Leopoldo Manta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Soter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper David Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Manta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. David Soter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Karol Biskupiak was substituted for Leopoldo Manta. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Otto Alberg replaced Kusti Jõeäär. David Soter made an important save on a dangerous shot by István Hoffman in the 78th minute. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Pelagius in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pocho Lavezzi was slow to take the kick. During this time GUTIERREZ SC's players had a chance to rest. In the 85th minute Karol Biskupiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's István Hoffman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Soter. David Soter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. David Soter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Biskupiak's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Mateusz Pleban might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Arendarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateusz Pleban ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, István Hoffman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. GUTIERREZ SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Zagłębie Dąbrowskie to leave the ground with a draw.
