Paolo Caradaro charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Faas Wilkes sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faas Wilkes in the 41st minute of play. Faas Wilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Caradaro was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Faas Wilkes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vykans Vikingar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faas Wilkes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Remigio Erramu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vykans Vikingar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Remigio Erramu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Simon Brolin was substituted for Elliott Bogren. Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson was substituted for Eric Van Lint. In the 61st minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Bengt-Arne Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Haglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pankracy Glogowski having to make a save. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bengt-Arne Haglund 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Bengt-Arne Haglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Glogowski should have stopped the shot. Bengt-Arne Haglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Marcos Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Marcos Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 97th minute of play.
