Tristan Bétourne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Biskupiak in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when István Hoffman came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edoardo Filippini took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Arendarski. Fabian Arendarski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Edoardo Filippini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal PSG's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Filippini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Arendarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Guipuzkoa. 25 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Dureuil to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute István Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Bétourne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edoardo Filippini hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Laureano Guipuzkoa made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Royal PSG's Amancio Itzaina. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Filippini in the 43rd minute of play. Karol Biskupiak struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tristan Bétourne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zagłębie Dąbrowskie.

Royal PSG made a substitution. Samuel Izard replaced Edoardo Filippini. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and István Hoffman made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's Samuel Izard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Arendarski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Zagłębie Dąbrowskie defense, Samuel Izard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Arendarski. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Arendarski should have stopped the shot. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Royal PSG booed when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damazy Turok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wincent Polkoski was substituted for Damazy Turok. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Duran Mukerrem was substituted for Karol Biskupiak. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. The Royal PSG players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
