Eldur Väärsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Tartu Tammed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavi Verte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Holger Lõhmus notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eldur Väärsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Caiola in the 20th minute of play. Eldur Väärsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tartu Tammed's Eino Tuulemaa got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ardo Laving hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Johan Saveneij sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eldur Väärsi skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute, Bengt Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Eldur Väärsi. Tartu Tammed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 43rd minute of the match Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a corner. Tartu Tammed's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johan Saveneij ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arvo Seitse tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eldur Väärsi. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan de Vlieger made a kick off. After some careless play in the Tartu Tammed defense, Jan de Vlieger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eldur Väärsi. The Tartu Tammed fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eldur Väärsi should have stopped the shot. Bengt Petersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Eldur Väärsi made a huge save. Eldur Väärsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Julius Vallik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Eldur Väärsi managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eldur Väärsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 70th minute of play. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Tartu Tammed's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johan Saveneij took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Emiliano Caiola heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When %teams%'s Jan de Vlieger was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-5 just inside the left pole, 74 minutes into the game. Eldur Väärsi was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Tartu Tammed's Eldur Väärsi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan de Vlieger in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bengt Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eldur Väärsi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tartu Tammed's Oliver Klaasen was substituted for Julius Vallik. Holger Lõhmus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Tartu Tammed's goalkeeper Eldur Väärsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zebastian Bergfeldt. The supporters of Julias Rascals Apeldoorn booed when Tartu Tammed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ardo Laving didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bert Laja charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bert Laja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tartu Tammed's Bert Laja quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Johan Saveneij, made in the 91st minute of the game. Eldur Väärsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan de Vlieger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. The Tartu Tammed fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
