The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Kind of Blue's Tonhão Rodrigues quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 贺奕晨, made in the 19th minute of the game. Sebastian Käller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 陆坚思 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After the first half Kind of Blue were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
