Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lincoln Hand made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's João Rodrigo got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Ayberk Akgün came free, but Spencer Holder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ayberk Akgün in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spencer Holder saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ayberk Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spencer Holder was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The attack was good, but when Ayberk Akgün in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Spencer Holder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayberk Akgün's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Sten Naredi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save DS ACADEMY TEAM from getting a goal against them. Kacper Wasikowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Naredi having to interfere. Ayberk Akgün scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Spencer Holder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Dag Olofsson got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's Claudinei Ramalho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute João Rodrigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Naredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Ayberk Akgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spencer Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DS ACADEMY TEAM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Barnaba Jarocewicz in the 47th minute.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ayberk Akgün to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute DS ACADEMY TEAM were awarded a corner. Barnaba Jarocewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. Barnaba Jarocewicz made a great header on DS ACADEMY TEAM's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder managed to reach the ball for a save. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 58th minute of play. After 60 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Borgers. In the 62nd minute Ayberk Akgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spencer Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes S.D. Bajen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barnaba Jarocewicz who took care of the corner kick. Barnaba Jarocewicz made a great header on DS ACADEMY TEAM's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder managed to reach the ball for a save. 67 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spencer Holder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Spencer Holder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 82nd minute, Kacper Wasikowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Spencer Holder successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Ayberk Akgün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spencer Holder came out of the goal and Ayberk Akgün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ayberk Akgün in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spencer Holder saved S.D. Bajen from getting behind. Jerold Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Spencer Holder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Kacper Wasikowski got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Ayberk Akgün tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Spencer Holder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The DS ACADEMY TEAM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DS ACADEMY TEAM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
