With a little luck, Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence got control of the ball when Karl-Michael Brask tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelino Lawrence was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Paul Stoian hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Xano Castellano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Igor Kelemen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xano Castellano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velez-Malaga's Angelino Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Velez-Malaga from getting a goal against them. Igor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xian Vacas in the 37th minute of the match. When Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Karl-Michael Brask in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velez-Malaga's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mădălin Geamănu hit a great ball. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Igor Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crescencio Guijarro in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Michael Brask to strike the kick off in the second half. Crescencio Guijarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Kelemen having to interfere. Karl-Michael Brask blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Lawrence having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Angelino Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Crescencio Guijarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Crescencio Guijarro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Velez-Malaga's Emeterio Aznar got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Karl-Michael Brask's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Lawrence was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Igor Kelemen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Crescencio Guijarro in the 78th minute. Igor Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 86 minutes into the match, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's goal looked a bit too open when Xano Castellano came free, but Igor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Velez-Malaga's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Brask came free, but Angelino Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xano Castellano got free with Igor Kelemen in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute, Wagner Doro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
