An unexpectedly hard shot by Bülent Ruge in the 6th minute of play forced Los Rompepiernas's goalkeeper Martin Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Los Rompepiernas's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Bessone came free, but Martin Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Franja Dorada fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Franja Dorada's Igor Tartalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Arthur Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franja Dorada's Valentin Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Los Rompepiernas were awarded a corner. Rene Crispo went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Silverio Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Liher was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The Franja Dorada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Franja Dorada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
