Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Jankowski in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Supernadie's goalkeeper Lucas Gilesindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With splendid footwork Ernesto Martini arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Supernadie's zone, Joel Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Gilesindo came out of the goal and Joel Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After taking down the ball on Lunatics of Arianrhod's corner Makis Galopoulos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Gilesindo quite easily take care of the ball. Osvaldo Suero came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugenio Manfredi could save by the left post. In the 80th minute of the match Supernadie got a corner. Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wincent Jankowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marc Overmars made a great header on Supernadie's corner, it was just that Lunatics of Arianrhod's Eugenio Manfredi managed to reach the ball for a save.
