Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Geovani Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lajos Révész took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD Fuerteventura's Lajos Révész played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 25th minute of the match. Lajos Révész showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the game Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Lajos Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, UD Fuerteventura's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lajos Révész reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Fuerteventura the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Geovani Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Geovani Barral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovani Barral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Geovani Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. UD Fuerteventura's İbrahim Ethem Altuncuoğlu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 72nd minute of play forced UD Fuerteventura's goalkeeper Lajos Révész to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geovani Barral was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Fuerteventura's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Barral in the 81st minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral. But to his dismay, Geovani Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. UD Fuerteventura made a substitution. Ismael Munoz replaced Basilio Quintero. In the 87th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Révész saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lajos Révész firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Lajos Révész despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Lajos Révész in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geovani Barral in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Geovani Barral put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The UD Fuerteventura players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
