Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Leheren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Martin Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Leheren didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jonny Saran hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Argider to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Leheren. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. After 56 minutes, Antonio Indiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Talleres de Escalada players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Argider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 59th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Rigoberto Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Rigoberto Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Argider cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jonas Tingelholm hit a great ball. With his leg Martin Leheren managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Colombia's Pascual Carballar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Talleres de Escalada's Martin Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 76th minute of play. If Rigoberto Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Talleres de Escalada's Martin Leheren got control of the ball when Ignacio Mastache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of the match. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Leheren came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Mastache slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 90th minute. If Rigoberto Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
