The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Wilza was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ruben Wilza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Liverpool Fans's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ruben Wilza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Rakadzhiev came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Wilza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of the match. Nickolous Astrajingga kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ruben Wilza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Liverpool Fans were awarded a corner. Godfredo Mel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Terra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 46 minutes, Antonio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Liverpool Fans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Ruben Wilza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Velichko Rakadzhiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Legimin Sagala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Terra in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Liverpool Fans were awarded a corner. Godfredo Mel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Liverpool Fans's Godfredo Mel to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71st minute Velichko Rakadzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Velichko Rakadzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool Fans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velichko Rakadzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 79th minute of play. Liverpool Fans's Godfredo Mel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruben Wilza could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 90th minute Velichko Rakadzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Rakadzhiev came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
