The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Bînciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dayo Kafadarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joar Scheie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dayo Kafadarov in the 10th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Artur Bînciu. Artur Bînciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Dayo Kafadarov got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dayo Kafadarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Joar Scheie made a huge save. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Eduard Vuşcan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santiago Aureo in the 32 minute of the game. Turgut Şimşek took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Bînciu. Artur Bînciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dayo Kafadarov in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Scheie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Dayo Kafadarov made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi's Artur Bînciu got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hüseyin Turan Uraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi made a substitution. Ramazan İlker replaced Dayo Kafadarov. 66 minutes into the game, Zlatin Ibrahimović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Joar Scheie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, İstemihan Bekdemir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SarıKırmızı F.Akademisi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 73rd minute Ramazan İlker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when İstemihan Bekdemir came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Bînciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Zlatin Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 84th minute of play.
