In the 13th minute Kurt Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Andoni Zubizarreta made a huge save. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Gines in the 16th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Errecaborda AFC had won after a very even match.
