The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Klingen got free with Wasyl Modrzewski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Freddie came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Pirates of Black Sea were awarded a corner. Ahmet Rıfat Reşat went to the cornerflag to take it. Taribo West made a great header on Pirates of Black Sea's corner, it was just that NoWayOut's Ergün Şener managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th minute Xie Sheng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Modrzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes NoWayOut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Rıfat Reşat who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Xi Jun in the 39th minute of play forced NoWayOut's goalkeeper Ergün Şener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's Dong Xi Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ergün Şener narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédson Freddie to strike the kick off in the second half. Wasyl Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson Freddie in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Pirates of Black Sea getting a freekick after 61 minutes play.
