Baybora İstanbul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Özekan in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Acar Baştürk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tömük33's attentive Necmi Ulusoy managed to snatch the ball when Vasko Zagorchev made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Şensoy Turcan made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cristo Blasi sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, İlker Tongal made a precise shot to the right of Şensoy Turcan. Tömük33's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 38th minute Vasko Zagorchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şensoy Turcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ufuk Ciray to make the kick off. Şensoy Turcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Tömük33's goal looked a bit too open when Vasko Zagorchev came free, but Şensoy Turcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
