Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lincoln Hand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lincoln Hand in the 21st minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Kacper Wasikowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Hand. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Kacper Wasikowski sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Wasikowski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Petrigai Solanos, made in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of S.D. Bajen booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Spencer Holder made a huge save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrigai Solanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spencer Holder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spencer Holder having to make a save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kacper Wasikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Wasikowski in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lincoln Hand went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.D. Bajen.
