Sümer Atlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 minutes of play, DEMİREL.FC's Bayındır Sarıkaya made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 10th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüstem Akatay having to interfere. After 28 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Atalan Yay. The audience was convinced that Bayındır Sarıkaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Bayındır Sarıkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 34th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüstem Akatay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Aykan İskenderoğlu made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Raik Şenalp. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Sarıkaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Aykan İskenderoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Sarıkaya in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Bayındır Sarıkaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bayındır Sarıkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Melquiades Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! Aykan İskenderoğlu succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. 77 minutes into the match, Bayındır Sarıkaya notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kazım Yalçın hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rüstem Akatay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 84th minute of the match. Bayındır Sarıkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Maximiliano Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Maximiliano Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DEMİREL.FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes DEMİREL.FC got a freekick which was hit by Kazım Yalçın. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Rüstem Akatay in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEMİREL.FC's goalkeeper Rüstem Akatay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but DEMİREL.FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
