Aykan İskenderoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aykan İskenderoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aykan İskenderoğlu hit a great ball. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raik Şenalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 19th minute of play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, DEMİREL.FC's Aykan İskenderoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, DEMİREL.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Aykan İskenderoğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquin Gayoso firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykan İskenderoğlu in the 51st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bayındır Sarıkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Francisco Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rüstem Akatay. The goal made the score 2-2. Rüstem Akatay came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Bayındır Sarıkaya scored 3-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Aykan İskenderoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Sarıkaya came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayındır Sarıkaya might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bayındır Sarıkaya ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bayındır Sarıkaya in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Rüstem Akatay made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Uruguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
