AEK S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Tipinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jelte Bleiswijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Niebiański&Team's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco de Andrade came free, but Rüştü Rencber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aníbal Lima fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK S.C's protests and gave Aníbal Lima a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, AEK S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Lima to maneuver through the defense. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save AEK S.C from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Tipinski to make the kick off. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Rüştü Rencber as he didn't even see the shot coming. AEK S.C made a substitution. Kevin Carreira replaced Donzel Goyeneta. In the 89thth minute of the game Thalis Krommidas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niebiański&Team's Rüştü Rencber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanasis Koltsidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Dziurowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanasis Koltsidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Dziurowicz in the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Szymon Dziurowicz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas. Thanasis Koltsidas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Thalis Krommidas in AEK S.C was the one to initiate the kick off. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Niebiański&Team were victorious despite being under pressure from AEK S.C for much of the match.
