Frederico Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Andrade in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Clube do Remo MZ defense, Rômulo Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico Smith. The Clube do Remo MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico Smith should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre da Cunha in the 34th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Frederico Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Vasconcelos in the 40th minute of play. Ismael Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laerte Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Vasconcelos in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, PIRATAS TFP's Rômulo Andrade got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rômulo Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Frederico Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor de Medeiros in the 51st minute of the match. Gernando Maciel lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Enrique Gerber, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
